Research
Current research at the Cambridge Auto-ID Lab includes:
- Development of Intelligent Products and Intelligent Infrastructure (e.g. for more flexible disruption-tolerant logistics operations)
- Use of Auto-ID technology such as RFID and sensors within the construction industry, as part of the Cambridge Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction
- Research to support technical standardisation efforts at GS1 / EPCglobal in areas including Event Based Traceability / Electronic Pedigree and Linked Open Data for Products and Services (GS1 Digital)
